Founded in the year 1967, MB Patel Science College, Anand is spread over 7 acres with a total student enrolment of 3,106 and a faculty strength of 94 members; hence, it has been one of the premier institutions in Gujarat, India. Being a co-educational institution affiliated to NAAC, the institution imparts various courses in science and technology.

The institution is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art facilities in order to make the learning experience truly enriching for their students. There is a well-maintained library with an adequate stock of books related to courses that the college runs, which is also provided with a capacity for 100 readers in its reading room.
