MCT Training College Malappuram, Started 1995 , It is one of the leading teacher training institution located in malappuram district of Kerala state in India. The college is located at Melmuri Post, Malappuram district and occupies a sprawling area of 5.63 acres ofland, which is suitable for nurturing future educators. MCT Training College is an affiliated college approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) hence credible teacher education programmes. The institute has three full time courses in education in which total of 150 seats are available in all respective programmes. Owning to a committed teaching staff of 15 members, the college ensures that students have the advantage of being handled individually by their tutors.

MCT Training College has put in place a number of amenities with aims of improving the learning of its students. Every source that needs to be found in a well-equipped library is supposed to contain a rather vast amount of educational information. Three courses offered by the MCT Training College covers various aspects in the field of education. They include two-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme, two-year Master of Education (M.Ed) programme and two-year Diploma in Education (D.Ed) programme. All these full time programmes have an intake capacity of 50 student, hence, 150 in total for all these programmes. This diverse range of offerings is to meet the needs of students who are at different levels of their education teaching needs, from initial teaching professional to those that need greater depth of knowledge in education.
