MCV Degree College, Punganur, was established in 2010. It is a college affiliated to the Government of Andhra Pradesh, India. This institution has been serving the region since more than a decade. The total enrolment is 839 students and faculty strength is 17; MCV Degree College provides a range of undergraduate courses. The college offers five full-time courses under two different types of degrees within the field, such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Electronics, Statistics, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, and Commerce.

There are many facilities built into the college that aim to improve  the learning process of students here. The IT facilities at the college prove to be excellent; great sources helping them in their studies. For practical experience in learning, the college has adequately equipped departmental laboratories to provide an opportunity for students to take theoretical knowledge onto the ground. The library is the academic research and study centre providing students with sufficient resources to support courses being taught. MCV Degree College offers five undergraduate courses that are full time. There are four B.Sc degrees and one B.Com degree. The B.Sc programmes have the following specialisation: Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science;, Mathematics, Electronics, and Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science, and Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry. The B.Com programme is available in Computer Applications.
