MEASI Institute of Information Technology is an affiliated college located in Chennai was started in the year 2002. Established on a small area of total 12 acres of land this institute has earned recognition in field of Information Technology Education. Salted from the All India Council for Technical Education, MEASI Institute of Management has a more streamlined programme offering only one post graduate course. The institute is now having 117 students and it is functioning with 11 teaching and non-teaching faculties and it has a low student student teacher ratio which is 10.7.

MEASI Institute of Information Technology aims at imparting quality education in the area of Information Technology via Master of Computer Applications (MCA) course. This is a full time two years course which is core course of the institute with an approved number of strength 180. The main goal of MCA programme is to provide in-depth knowledge and skills in computer applications that adequate for the evolving IT career. Though it is only has one degree programme at the present time, the institute is able to provide focused, intensified training and comprehensive coverage of material.

It is worth to mention that the MEASI Institute of Information Technology has the main admission criteria based on Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET), which is conducted by ANNA UNIVERSITY at state level. This entrance examination is the first stepping stone in the process of admission in the highly popular MCA programme. The institute also accepts Common Entrance Tests conducted through an association of self-financing college or Universities.
