Saraf Institute of Engineering and Technology (SIET), Hanumangarh, Rajasthan, is an affiliate college established in the year 2010. Over the last decade, the institution has been gradually expanding its reputation as a provider of engineering education. Owned and run by the CSJMO, the college is located at Tibbi Road Extension, Hanumangarh Town, with its major offered programmes including engineering. We are an 85-member faculty dedicated to offering value-added education in several fields of engineering. The institute currently has 8 courses, which it delivers at 2 different degree levels, with a large concentration of undergraduate engineering courses.
SIET has numerous amenities that should complement the facility of its student body. As for me, the college library is the information centre or knowledge base source of students, as they get all-type knowledge there related to their streams. Individual departments are also equipped with teaching laboratories in which students are able to practice theoretical principles. It equally has an auditorium for use in conferences, seminars, and any other academic activities for the creation of an enabling environment. The meals of students and personnel are provided by a cafeteria located in the territory of the college. SIET has provided for modern technological facilities for use by students making relevant investments in the technologies. For those active kinds of students, the college provides sporting facilities. Further more, there is a guest house/waiting area for the use by visiting faculty and families of the students, which enhances the comfort and convenience on the campus.
There are 31 specialisations offered at the institute that are all full-time-based courses, for a total of 8 courses. These courses are specifically directed at undergraduate engineering studies, while B.Tech programmes remain at the foundation of the institute’s portfolio. The B.Tech programmes are offered in many specialisations in engineering, which gives students a broad choice on whatever they would like to do. Though the number of students per course, whether small or big, is not so clearly defined, the institute goals and objectives mention the inflow of a large number of students aspiring to be engineers every academic session.
Saraf Institute of Engineering and Technology has opened its doors to admit aspiring students into its institution with ease through these admission procedures. Unfortunately, the institute fails to lay down certain features, such as the admission dates and exams accepted in the college, but for engineering colleges in India, candidates are usually accepted based on national or state-level B.Tech. entrance exams.
Prospective students are advised to regularly check the institute's official website. It is advised that the students visit the official website of the university either through or contact the admission office of the university to acquire current details on admissions, different procedures, deadlines, and examination requirements. While the institute assiduously expands and diversifies, it will persist in its mission of preparing young engineers for their careers.
