Memari College, established in 1981, is a rural college located in Memari, Purba Burdwan, West Bengal. It sprawls over 10.61 acres of campus and offers a range of academic programs that fulfill the educational expectations of young learners within the surrounding localities. The college has a very vibrant learning environment, with 5,548 students enrolled and 77 dedicated teachers. 

The facilities available in the college are many and oriented towards enhancing the learning process. The central facility for academic resources is the central library with more than 21,500 books and 2,485 journals. The library is fully computerized with Koha software to facilitate access to its large collection of materials. The facilities available to the students include internet and CD library facilities and teaching aids like atlas, models, etc. Students who pursue science courses have well-equipped departmental laboratories. In order to cope up with the digital era of learning, a state-of-the-art computer laboratory with more than 20 computer sets and internet connections is made available to the students.

Memari College offers a wide range of undergraduate programs comprising 23 full-time courses across different disciplines. The institution offers both honors and general degree courses in the streams of arts, commerce, and sciences. Some of the courses imparted include BA (Bachelor of Arts), B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce), and B.Sc (Bachelor of Science) with various specializations such as Bengali, English, History, Economics, Computer Science, and Mathematics. 

The general admission process in Memari College is merit-based, enabling only the meritorious candidates to enroll in programs of their choice. The college selects students through transparent admission process while giving due consideration to the academic performance of applicants in their qualifying exams.
