Affiliated college, MSNIMT, inaugurated in 2002, located at Kollam, Kerala. This AICTE-approved institution specialises in management education, offering two full-time programmes: MBA and MBA Integrated. MSNIMT is on a total area of 8 acres; the total intake capacity of students is 631; and staff strength is 17. The management studies focus is evident in the institute’s courses; the institute offers a total of 180 seats in both programmes. These aspects make it evident that MSNIMT has concerns in providing educations with quality achievements of expansive facilities and cosmopolitan curriculum.

The institute is equipped with various important facilities that enable enhanced learning for its students. The library located in South Kerala is a learning resource centre comprising of many books, periodicals, journals, and digital resources that go beyond AICTE and university standards. For living facilities, the college has managed to create separate hostels for boys and girls coupled with facilities such as recreation facilities. The campus facilities consist of very good information technology equipment; hence, most of the students shall be in touch with the current trends. In extracurricular activities, the college provides sports amenities and an open space for events, resulting in seminars. Students and other personnel of the institution are provided with a cafeteria for their meals. Upasana Hospital in Kollam is the other tie-up where students get healthcare services along with a doctor on call in case of emergency.

MSNIMT offers two management programmes: a two-year full-time MBA with 120 student enrolment capacity and a five-year full-time MBA integrated with sixty student enrolment capacity. These programmes are aimed at fulfilling diverse student expectations, ranging from the conventional postgraduate management education and training preferred by students who had previous academic training in business management or administration to the integrated business education and training from the undergraduate level. An intake capacity for students in both programmes combined to 180 confirmed the institute’s capability to cultivate future management talents. Despite the lack of qualitative information on the graduates produced, the fact that the institute specialises in the delivery of these two programmes shows a niche market in producing quality management graduates.

The format of admission in MSNIMT is mainly through entrance examinations. For the MBA programme, the institute accepts scores from the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) conducted by the AICTE, the KMA Kerala, and the Common Admission Test CAT conducted by IIMs. These nationally and state-recognised exams help to ensure that the institute produces learning environments that attract candidates with the necessary aptitude for future management success. 

General information about a specific integrated MBA programme is scarce; however, one can assume that the entrance exam forms the basis of admission. Getting multiple entrance exams is an advantage, as accepted by MSNIMT, which offers flexible opportunities to the aspiring students. Though for scholarships, such data is not available, the institute possesses a vigorous alumni platform, which allows students to interact with practitioners of the profession. This network may provide relevant information and progress that serves the current learners when they join the job market.
