The MES College of Nursing, Malappuram—an institution established in the year 2004—is one of the pioneer nursing colleges for women in Kerala, India. MES College of Nursing is the first and the only institution in Kerala for women's nursing. This 4-year B.Sc Nursing programme has approval to admit 70 students. A merit list is drawn based on performance in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) in the qualifying examination. This programme is also within the ambit of the criteria for eligibility laid down by the Indian Nursing Council, the Kerala Nurses and Midwife Council, and the Kerala University of Health Sciences.
Post Basic B.Sc Nursing course allows 20 students to join in 2 years. The entry process is similar to that of B.Sc Nursing, which includes a merit list based on the qualifying examination PCB. The candidate should have a diploma in nursing or an equivalent qualification recognised by the nursing councils.
