Minakhan Dr. B.R. Ambedkar College of Education, established in 2016, is a co-educational institution in the area of Minakhan, West Bengal. This affiliated college, approved by the NCTE, focuses on programs of training in teaching. This co-educational college, having compact 1 acre campus, offers two full-time courses with a student enrolment of 323. This ensures a favourable student-to-teacher ratio for ensuring personalized attention and quality teaching in the field of teaching through an institute faculty strength of 31 experienced and learned teachers.

In the case of the D.El.Ed. course, admission is made on merit-based principles against marks in qualifying examinations and/or entrance test, as per State Government and University policy.
