Minerva College of Education, Indora was established in 2008,and is an affiliated college situated in the picturesque Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. This co-educational and residential institution is located at a 25-acre plot of land and has mission of serving as teachers, educators and IT professionals. NCTE affiliated Minerva College is recognized for its blend of conventional and advanced educational affiliated with the curriculum of National Council for Teacher Education. At present the college has a total of 202 students and 22 faculty members that ensures small group teaching learning style. The institute provides two primary degree programmes: UOK’s courses include Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), which afford students various academic focuses and life goals.

Minerva College of Education has made provision of many facilities that are seen to cause an enriching experience of the student in as much as they help improve on the results gotten. Those facilities contain quality books and papers that are easily available to the students and members of the faculty. The institution boasts on department based Laboratory that offer practical sessions that are very essential in practical training. As a result of going hi-tech in this present world, Minerva College has chosen to provide great technological aids in its IT department to ensure that students are acquainted with updated technological knowledge and tools. For seminar and event, there’s an auditorium which has been established on the campus, making the campus more active in terms of academics and culture. Minerva College of Education, Indora, currently offers three programmes: B.Ed, BCA, and BA. Among these programmes, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) which is a flagship programme of the institution takes two academic year to produce qualifying education and accommodates one hundred and ((100)) students as approved by the university. This a full-time course which aims at preparing competent and passionate teachers. The BCA programme takes 60 students and is a full time course that spans three years and prepares the students in this fast growing area of computer science. Recently, to expand exposure, the college also began offering another 60 seats for the Bachelor of Arts (BA) programme. All these programmes are available as full-tilt, regular courses to indicate That the college is fully committed providing an extensive and intensive course. This means the school opens its doors to a total of two hundred and twenty students for a given course as illustrated in the following plans; In this regard, the institution provides an environment for developing a large number of individuals with professional potential each year.

Admission policy formulated at Minerva College of Education, Indora, is that the admission policy of the college is merit based and very much transparent. For the B.Ed programme, the admission is made according to the marks secured in the qualifying examination and entrance examination or any other mode as the policy of the State Government/U.T. Administration or University norms. This helps in filtering the best and qualities individuals that would like to join the teaching profession. Unlike in the US, admission requirements for BCA and other BA courses do not display explicit polices, but it can be assumed that they are merit based. This college also pays emphasis on providing quality education and also the facilities like hostels for boy and girls of outstation medium is also present.
