About Minerva Polytechnic, Nabagram

Minerva Polytechnic at Nabagram was established in the year of 2010, and it is counted among the prominent Technical Institute located in Murshidabad, West Bengal. This co-educational institute is flanked by a campus spread across 5.27 acres and created to impart quality-based technical education to all aspirant engineers. Minerva Polytechnic, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, runs four diploma programs in various engineering streams. The 25 faculty that preside over the total student enrolment of 278 ensure a student-teacher ratio that is very favourable for the student, thereby creating an environment where learning can be personalised in a way that promotes academic growth.

There is a set of modern facilities in the institute that are slated to enhance the learning experience for the student. The well-equipped laboratories provide the ground for hands-on training that allows students to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations. Minerva Polytechnic solves the problem of lack of books in the library and therefore serves as a knowledge dispenser by default. Besides, Minerva Polytechnic has great IT infrastructure, so graduating students can keep up in the digital world. Sports facilities ensure overall student development through fostering physical fitness and team spirit. A campus cafeteria attends to the nutritional requirements for both the staff and the student. At the same time, an auditorium venue provide a venue for different in house programs and seminars. Also, a health centre with first aid kits is available for the enhancement health care of the institute's community.
Minerva Polytechnic, Nabagram offers a narrow spectrum of diploma courses all of three years duration.

Currently, the institute offers four diploma courses, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The Institute has an intake of 60 students in each of these courses as per approval, thus a total number of seats available is 240. These programs are astutely chosen aligning with the demands of the range of requirements from the engineering sector and serving its purpose without stretching its own means, which may affect the efficiency of its operation.
