Modern Dental College and Research Centre was established in 1999 at Indore, Madhya Pradesh, is a premier dental college. This affiliated college located at Airport Road has been in the making of the future dental health for well over two decades. Affiliated to the Dental Council of India(MDCI), MDCRC envisages to produce competent dental professionals across the country by providing affordable & comprehensive undergraduate & postgraduate dental education.

The college has quality facilities to ensure that students have quality environment in which to learn. Collectively at the center of these compounds is a mammoth library with an area of more than 10,000 square feet. This knowledge hub contains thousands of books, numerous journals, and magazines; as well as Med Line CDs & DVDs; & EBSCO for e-learning. The campus also has hostels for the male and female students to discourage close interaction thereby providing abreast accommodation to extra-county students. 

The school has its own health center with first aid facilities, which students have the highest priority. In the same line for students in search of recreation, MDCRC provides the following sports facilities to ensure balanced college lives. Modern techniques are employed in the college’s teaching facilities The IT infrastructure, and an auditorium for functions and seminars. To meet the nutritional needs students have the privilege of a cafeteria and a mess wherein they are offered breakfast, lunch and dinner. Further, MDCRC provides transport facilities which has buses to and from Indore and surrounding neighborhood to provide ease of transport for the day scholars.

MDCRC has a total of nine courses at two levels of degrees that give students a variety of specialty in the dentistry field. The flagship programme of the college is the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) that is a full time course and has an approved strength of one hundred students. On postgraduate level, MDCRC provides the following Masters programmes: MDS/ Master of Dental Surgery that takes three years to complete. These specialised courses are MDS in Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge, Periodontology, Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics, Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry etc., for which the minimum capacity for admission is 03 to maximum of 06 seats in each specialisation.

MDCRC having entrance exams at the national level whether it is for admission or not. Actually, for BDS programme the admission process is based on merit of the candidates who qualify their National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). The admission to MDS programmes for the postgraduate level is through National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Masters Degree in Dental Surgery (NEET-MDS). As for the entrance tests, prospective students are to pass the specific test minimum percentile designated for their categories. 

The college follows guidelines of the Dental Council of India with regard to admission policy so as to maintain fairness of the selection process. Consequently, while specific scholarship information is nowhere to be found, one can appreciate a wide array of courses that MDCRC offers and cutting-edge facilities that bolster the dental education. The college has well experienced 50 faculty members to train students for high standards education and real world to be a successful dental practitioners. More so, students who enroll to MDCRC begin their carrier in dental field that has been set right from the beginning of millennium.
