Moradabad Polytechnic Institute was established in 2011. It is one of the fastest-growing institutes in the technical education sector in North India, located at a distance of 2.5 km from Gangan Tiraha on Sambhal Road, near Lalpur Bastor. MPI is an affiliated college approved by AICTE that offers a range of diploma programs in nearly every engineering discipline. At present, the institute offers five full-time diploma programmes in Civil Construction Technology, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering, besides a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Hardware and Networking. All these programmes are formulated to provide skills and knowledge to the students that are relevant to industry. The programmes offered under diploma are three-year duration, and those under the PG diploma are of a one-year course. In addition, MPI has a total of 360 students' intake approval in diploma programmes with 120 seats apiece in Civil Construction Technology and Mechanical Engineering, and 60 seats apiece in Computer Science and Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
