Motiwala College of Educational Sciences situated in Nashik, Maharashtra India The college was established in the year 2008 and it is an affiliated college. This coed is located in a 4 acre land and is focused to provide education in the field of teacher. The college is duly accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for teaching quality. Motiwala College is one of the favoured colleges in the province with a total student capacity of 99 and total faculty strength of 8. The institute at the moment of carrying out this research offered only one programme that is the bachelor of education (B.ED) which is a full time programme and takes two academic years to complete. 

Motiwala College of Educational Sciences has various facilities that are meant and help to improve the learning environment for the students. In academic learning, a well stocked library helps in gathering lots of books, journals, magazines etc., all under one roof. The campus encompasses well endowed scientific and psychology laboratories to support practical experiments and research activities. Sports and games facilities have also been provided to the students, including fully equipped gym for both male and female with proper timing. The college also offers transport facilities to commute between the city (Shalimar) and the college at a small cost as a result making it easier for those who commute.

Motiwala College of Educational Sciences offers one primary course: the Bachelors of Education Training B.Ed . This full-time course has an approved intake capacity of 100, and thus it reportedly fulfills the need of a large number of would-be teachers every year. The idea in conducting the B.Ed programme is to equip the students with the appropriate skills and knowledge that will enable them function effectively within education venue. Though the college has specialised in this particular programme , it shows its par commitment to producing quality teachers within the region.

The admission procedure in Motiwala College of Educational Sciences is based on CET score in all its courses. The CET must be passed by all students aspiring to join university education and the success score should meet the predetermined standard by the regulating authority. To eliminate bias and achieve equitable admissions, the college follows such standardised working procedures. The college has a computer laboratory along with internet connectivity where the students along with the student teachers can build up interactivity in parallel to their course training. Other amenities include a hall for conferences/meetings, a dispensary, diet for staff and pupils, and some accommodation for guest faculty and students’ family members. Pamela is a girls’ Hostel and is managed by a Hostel Parent who oversees preparation of meals; washing of clothes; and other students’ entertainments.
