Motto +3 Degree College, Bhadrak being an affiliated institution of Utkal University was established in 1992 at Bhadrak, Odisha. This institution is fully accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), which show its concern to quality. The college occupies a relatively small area of 5 acres and provides its 587 students with a number of undergraduate courses. Motto +3 Degree College has 14 members in its teaching staff including faculties in all fields and disciplines to provide every student of the college an optimal Student:Teacher ratio.

Motto +3 Degree College has various amenities intended to improve the learning condition of the students. These amenities include a modern hospital with an accommodation of over ten thousand books both the text and referential ones, journals, and magazines. It is not just a stock of knowledge, but an active place in the life of the academic institution. For technology lovers, the college provides a very comfortable and properly equipped technologically advanced room with an air conditioning system and an unlimited internet connection. There is an internet connection in all teaching areas, and in all the students’ housing facilities in the college, students can access the internet. sports lovers will also entertain with the big play ground that has been provided to facilitate many games that are also held yearly sports activities. Yoga centre, yet other facilities of the college, is also a top attraction among students due to the college push towards the overall personality development.

Motto +3 Degree College is proud to offer our students 6 courses spread over three degree programmes. These full-time courses cover a period of three years each and are taught with an aim to meet the general needs of all students. Under the programmes offered it has Bachelor of Arts (BA) specialisation in Odia, History, Political Science & Education and general (pass) stream. For the commericial stream, the college provides the B.Com programme and the college has the sanctioned strength of 62. As for the intake capacity of the other courses remains unspecified here the college provides the total student intake of 587 making the college more centralised on the programme.

Admission procedure at Motto +3 Degree College is made easier and friendly to intensions for the college. Again, while there is no explanation on how to join the institution, it can be understood that like many other universities, affiliated colleges usually operate under the conditions set down by the parent institution.  In as much as the college is committed to the needs of the women, the college provides a women’s hostel within the compound to host about 40 female students from different districts and states. Among them is the facility which holds the dining hall, common room and Wi-Fi among others to enhance a comfortable atmosphere to out-station students. For those interested in their future professions, the college has a Placement Cell that recruits companies for campus interviews, invite experienced lecturers for talks and meetings and offer various career guidance services to help students find jobs in different fields. The cell also offers pre-placement training to further the employability skills of the students and this shows the commitment of the institution to not only producing education, but also producing well placed citizens.
