Functional since 1940, MR Government College is located in Fazilaka, Punjab, India, and is therefore recognised as rather traditional educational facility. It is a coeducational College that is situated in Mahavir Colony and has been instrumental in molding the society for eight decades. The college is located in a very large piece of land of about 25 acres thus providing the much-needed landscape for learning and development. As an affiliated college, it currently hosts three different undergraduate programmes, which cater for the different needs. The idea being that having controlled class sizes would ensure the college offered quality education to its students The BCA Self Finance programme is specifically admitting 40 students only, for which it has got an approved intake capacity.
