The institute came into existence in 2009, and is locared in Bhind, Madhya Pradesh and its name is Mrityunjay Nursing Mahavidyalaya. Located at Keeratpura, near the GASM, this is co-educational college that focuses on producing professional healthcare Human Resources. The institute has a course portfolio that covers all levels of nursing education, which include B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, General Nursing Midwifery, or GNM, and Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery, or ANM. The B.Sc Nursing is 4 years course that offers a synthesised perspective of nursing science. Specialised education is provided in the one-year fast track Post graduate diploma in Nursing. The level five course, the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)course is a four year course that prepares students in nursing. Finally, the two-year Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) programme is for candidates who desire to be a nurse in the first degree before studying nursing at the auxiliary level. Although figures regarding total number of seats and graduation rates are lacking, the variety of courses offered in the college suggest that the college trains competent and all-rounded nursing personnel.
