Mula Rural Institute of Pharmacy, Newasa, was established in the year 2004. This is one of the well-known institutions in Sonai, Maharashtra. Spanning an area of 5 acres, this campus provides an environment that befits aspiring pharmacists. This institute has a number of facilities that really help in making the learning experience truly holistic. Separate hostel facilities for boys and girls are available in the campus, having an intake capacity of 40 students in each. These hostels are well-equipped with modern amenities such as entertainment halls, sports facilities, and dining areas. For health and wellness, there is a small 15-bed dispensary attended by a medical officer and a full-time nurse on campus. The spacious library, of 150 square meters and with more than 2,000 books and 9 scientific national and international journals, forms the heart of academic resources. This seating capacity comfortably accommodates more than 75 students at a time to spend hours comfortably while studying and researching.

Mula Rural Institute of Pharmacy offers a comprehensive portfolio of courses in the programs of pharmacy to meet all levels of pharmaceutical education. The courses the institute offers include three full-time courses: Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma), Bachelor of Pharmacy, and Master of Pharmacy in Quality Assurance. All these programs are oriented to endow students with the requisite knowledge and skills for service in the constantly changing, progressing, and increasingly demanding field of pharmacy.
