Located in Wadala East, Mumbai, the Mumbai Institute of Management and Research was founded in 2004. This co-educational institute is affiliated with the University of Mumbai and is very well known for its staunch dedication towards the excellence of management education. All its academic programmes are focused on postgraduate management education. This institution is predominantly an MMS institution with a two-year full-time programme. The admission process is as per the laid-down norms of the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell. All aspiring candidates for admission to MMS course need to appear for MAH MBA CET Examination. This objective test thus becomes an important component of the selection procedure, which helps determine the aptitude of the candidate for the management course. The academic calendar is more or less in tune with that of the University of Mumbai.
