Murthy Institute of Technology and Science, Hyderabad Lipse began in the year of 2005 and is an affiliated college located in Anki Reddy Pally, Keesara, Ranga Reddy District. This is a mixed school that provides different technical and management courses to the perspective candidates. Although specific ranking data is lacking, the institute has been gradually improving the quality of education in sectors of engineering and management. The faculty members of the institute are 17 proficient and dedicated human resources to produce competent graduates for industry demand.

Murthy Institute of Technology and Science has a limited number of programmes and is designed to meet the steady growing need of the technological employment opportunities. The institute currently provides four main programmes: three B.Tech courses and an MBA programme. The B.Tech courses are Electronics & Communication Engineering., Computer Sci & Engineering and Electrical & Electronics & Engineering. All these engineering programmes have an intake capacity of 60 students as is the capacity for MBA. This has taken the overall student enrolment to 240 across the various courses offered in the institute showing the capacity of the institute in maintaining manageable student churn in order to ensure the right student faculty ratio is achieved for effective learning.

Murthy Institute of Technology and Science equally follows a rather simple and merit based admission criteria. For the B.Tech. admissions, details regarding the entrance exams are lacking, however it is a familiar practice for engineering colleges for the region that they admit students based on scores in state level and national level entrance examination.
