Nabinchandra College, Badarpur, was established in the year 1969. It is a co-educational college located in Karimganj District, Assam. This affiliated college, covering an area of 9.43 acres, has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. The institution has a total student strength of 3,194 with 54 faculty members, offering 17 different courses under 7 degree programmes. Nabinchandra College specialises in streams of Arts, Science, and Commerce, with an aim of providing an all-rounded educational experience to students from all walks of life. 

Nabinchandra College has several facilities aimed at enriching the learning and holistic development processes of students. One such facility includes a library, which acts as an excellent knowledge centre, well-equipped with a large stock of books, periodicals, and newspapers. Specialised courses at the honours level are available in Arabic, Economics, History, Political Science, Bengali, English, Physics, Chemistry, Ecology, Environmental Science, Mathematics, Botany, and Zoology. Its intake ranges from 300 in B.Com to 30 seats in B.Voc Information Technology. Many of its other programmes, in the streams of Arts and Science, also have a fairly healthy intake of students of 260 and 100 respectively; these bear testimony to the commitment of the College towards providing quality education across a wide variety of fields.
