Nagarjuna Institute of Technology and Sciences, Miryalguda (NITS) is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and is one of the most reputed private engineering colleges started its journey in the year 1998. This is an institute situated in Srinivasa Nagar, V T Palem, Miryalguda, Telangana and over the last two decades has been moulding the upcoming generation of engineers. NITS is recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) which make sure that it is observing the standards of education. The institute has had a very dedicated and experienced faculty of 96 members which helps in taking individual care of the students. As an institute of technical learning, NITS provides 6 programmes in two degree levels, with concentration on a range of engineering fields.

Facilities of Nagarjuna Institute of Technology and Sciences For the effective functioning of the college and easy learning of its students this campus is fully equipped with necessary modern facilities. The institute also has a Girls Hostel, which harbours the female students residing in various areas. This I.T Infrastructure provides students with technological products that matches the current technological advancement in the market. Moreover, to supporting cultural and other academic activities of the university there is an Auditorium built on campus making the campus life rich.

NITS has a number of full time B.Tech programmes, giving the students multiple choices in engineering influx. The institute currently offers five B.Tech programmes: Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics & communication engineering, Information Technology, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Mechanical engineering. Such schemes are developed to serve the needs of the marketplace as well as to equip the learner for productive practice in selected professions. The approved intake for these courses differ; Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering each having an intake of one hundred and twenty and Information Technology having an intake of sixty only.

The general admission process followed at Nagarjuna Institute of Technology and Sciences is quite friendly and the process of accepting students in all the various engineering courses offered in the campus is fair. Though there are lacks of detail information about the admission criteria for these institutes it is normal that performance in the qualifying examinations, tests and earlier academic results are taken into consideration.
