Nagasiva Polytechnic College, Madurai was set up in the year 2007, the name has echoed widely in the technical world located in Tamil Nadu, India. This affiliated college approved by the All India Council for Technical Education High Call (AICTE) provides many diploma courses in engineering fields. Located in the Nedungulam Village, Viraganoor, the college is spread across a large area of 16 acres, with the total number of intakes as 1119 along with a total faculty as 75. Being a technical college, Nagasiva Polytechnic College offers four different diploma courses that address the demand for Engineers in many fields.

It is essential for Nagasiva Polytechnic College to boast of a score of facilities that can complement the learning abilities of students. The richly equipped library is designed as the centre of knowledge and offers students a vast list of educational references. Modern scientific labs adapted to the needs of each department provide practical experiences. The college has an effective communication system that trains the students on the latest technological development in the field. For the sportsmen and sport fans the institution has as part of its infrastructure developed and maintained many sports grounds from as early as it was started. College Staffs are provided with a cafeteria service for obtaining food from which staffs and students caters their food needs and a health centre with first aid services for the college. It also has Training & Placement Cell which plays an important role in offering career lucrative placements for the students through the Campus Placement Programme through which the college gets associated with many companies.

Currently, the institution offers four fulltime diploma courses, which are offered over a period of three years. These courses are Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The total number of approved intake for all the courses is 540 and this goes to show the potential of the college to produce a number of hopeful technicians and engineers.
