Naipunya Degree College, Prathipadu is a newly inaugurated for the academic year 2017-18 situated at East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh it is a co-educational institution. Located in the Vardhanamma Nagar, across the Magistrate Court, this is a young college; however, has carved its niche as one of the notable college at the present era in the region. The college has several opportunities of teaching and learning for its students in arts, commerce and science faculties for undergraduate programmes. Spread over an area of 0.14 acres now Naipunya Degree College houses 385 students and 14 committed teachers. 

College offers five undergraduate courses comprising of three BSc, one BCom and one BA degrees or courses. In its capacity as the training ground of students, the college is keen on ensuring that its students gets a balanced learning experience. It provides place for various activities focusing on academic and co-curricula activities. The IT structure is present in the campuses in form of a computer laboratory that houses 30 connected LAN computer systems that facilitates students’ access to modern learning tools. , all situated in the main building of the college employs a number of strength and has a total collection of nearly three thousand text and reference books and two journals and magazines. Learner practical experience is facilitated by departmental laboratories in the college as this enables students to practice straight from their area of specialization. But due to the space shortage on the college, there are arrangements present to have sports facilities. There is a separate 2 acre campus located 03 Km away from main campus in P.Jagannadhapuram village where the sports facility is available. This is an area specifically provided for these activities and students are ferried her by the college bus and some by their personal means Some of the exercises that can be done in this area include; Volleyball, Handball, Kho-Kho, Cricket, Kabaddi and Badminton. The college also has an auditorium which act as event and seminar venue where student events and academic discourse take place. 

Currently, Naipunya Degree College provides five total undergraduate courses, and all of them are on a full-time basis. They include also science, commerce and arts course and therefore its over arching programs can accommodate different academic interests. The total student intake capacity for all programmes in the college is 385. The science stream is particularly strong, with three Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) programs: Physics and Mathematics with Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science, Botany, Zoology with Chemistry, Zoology and Botany with Mathematics and Physics. All these B.Sc programs have a carry capacity of 50 students. The commerce stream is represented by the B.Com in Computer Applications which takes a large strength of 60 students. Faculty of liberal arts: There is an option for students who like humanities; the college also provides the BA History, Economics, and Political Science and has 60 seats for students.
