Najath College of Nursing, Ernakulam, is known as ALUVA Ernakulam, is one of the dedicated college for the nursing education in Kerala, India. Affiliated to University: This affiliated college is based in Desom, Purayar, Aluva; it is also affiliated to: Indira Gandhi till now Indian Nursing Council (INC) and hence it boasts of providing quality nursing education. Though it doesn’t mention the year of founding, the college has carved out an indention for itself in the field of nursing. The organisers of Najath College of Nursing understands the tricks of the trade and hence, the college is privileged to employ 13 skilled members of the faculty.

It is a source of pride to Najath College of Nursing to offer a number of facilities with the ability to foster the learning needs of its students. The girls’ hostel dubbed a home away from home offer accommodation with improved living rooms, recreation amenities and constant supply of water throughout the day. The college library is one of the most important segment of the college students and contains a variety and number of the latest editions of Indian and international publications. There also exist reading rooms, journals and photocopiyng area and web surfing facilities available for the use. Practical sessions are facilitated by fully equipped laboratories for the different specialties in the college such as Anatomy, Nutrition, Fundamentals of nursing, Maternal nursing, Child health nursing and Community Health nursing laboratories. These sports include; outdoor games like volley ball, basket ball, indoor games like table tennis, chess among others, this makes the campus adopt a holistic development approach.

Najath College of Nursing currently offers one full-time course: the basic nursing degrees as the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing). This has an approved intake capacity of 40 students and the college has always maintained a carry out the vision of offering quality education with a personal touch. The B.Sc Nursing is, therefore, structured to provide students with the needful knowledge and skills they are expected to face in the nursing profession of the present day world. Admission policy in Najath College of Nursing therefore aims at recruiting steadfast and eligible students into its nursing course.
