Nalanda Mahila Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya is an affiliated women's college at Biharsharif, Bihar, in the prime role of promoting women's education in the field of teacher training. This institution came into existence in 2009 and is extended over a compact campus of 0.63654 acres. The college got due approval from NCTE. As it is a women-only institute, it concerns itself with the empowerment of women in the field of education only. The only degree course offered by the college is that of B.Ed., with an enrolment of 100 students.

It has various facilities to help enrich learning among students. It acts as the central academic help in the library, that retains hundreds of subject books, encyclopedias, magazines, newspapers, educationally related CDs, and journals. Nalanda Mahila Shikshak Prashikshana Mahavidyalaya offers a course in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). This is a two-year, full-time course for those desiring to acquire the knowledge and skills to become successful teachers. The B.Ed. course has an approved intake of 100 seats, providing ample opportunities to women desiring to enter the teaching profession.

In the case of Nalanda Mahila Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya, admission is based on merits, which are determined on the basis of marks obtained at the qualifying examination and entrance examination.
