Nalgonda Institute of Technology and Science, Nalgonda: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Nalgonda Institute of Technology and Science (NITS) were started in the year 2008 and is one of the reputed educational institute in Nalgonda, Telangana. This co-educational institute is an affiliated college established under the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for the provision of engineering courses at the UG and PG level. Located at Hyderabad Road in Cherlapally, NITS has been helping to build young engineers destined for the future for well over ten years now.

To add, a number of facilities add to student’s academic and personal development are available at Nalgonda Institute of Technology and Science. Among them are a rich stock of books equipped library, adequate sports facilities to enhance physical fitness, modern infrastructure facilities in I.T to expose the students to exposure the different technology. NITS also having a cafeteria for students to eat and medical facilities to make sure that the students are healthy, and transport facilities for travelling. Such facilities foster learning well being, and development among students.

There are totally six courses presented by NITS, among which four are B.Tech programmes and two are M.Tech programmes. The B.Tech programmes include Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering. At post graduate level the institute provides M.Tech in VLSI Design and Embedded Systems and Computer Science and Engineering. All courses are full-time giving students the opportunity to gain broad and detailed knowledge and practical experience in chosen fields. The institute has got total sanctioned strength of 300 seats in B.Tech programmes and 48 seats in M.Tech programmes which was indicative of a policy of delivering quality education with reasonable number of students in a class.

The admission process followed at NITS is very logical and more focused on merit. Though details of the entrance exams are not given, the institute may use the scores obtained by a candidate in the engineering entrance examination for admissions in Telangana.  Nalgonda Institute of Technology and Science has several courses, state of the art infrastructure, and benchmark quality standards for education makes it a preferred higher education institution for student to carve out their successful career in diverse fields of engineering.
