Nalwa College of Education was established in the center location at Ujha Village in Panipat district of Haryana State in 2006. This is a Co-Educational college and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education, The total enrolment of students is 504, while the faculty strength is 37.

The college has well-stocked library, offering a wealth of resources for research and study. The institution has also playground along with sports facilities for the sporty and physically active students. Equipping themselves with the changing times in technology, it has modern I.T. Infrastructure with a computer center. The college canteen serves to become a refreshment and socializing spot, while the auditorium caters to provide a platform for the hosting of several events and seminars. The college has well-equipped specialized laboratories in Physics, Chemistry, Language, Biology, Psychology, E.T, and Methods, which help learners to get hands-on experience. Nalwa College of Education offers three full-time courses in education, at different levels for teacher training Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), Master of Education (M.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education.

The admission to all programs at Nalwa College of Education is merit-based, based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. Admissions to B.Ed and M.Ed are done as per the policy formulated by the state government, UT administration, and the affiliated university. The D.El.Ed course follows the merit-based system according to the policies framed by the state government or UT administration.
