Narain College, Shikohabad: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

One of the oldest institutions of higher learning in Uttar Pradesh, India, Narain College, Shikohabad, came into existence in 1956. From the last 60 years, this affiliated college has been guiding and developing minds by providing 15 courses in its curriculum under 4 degree programmes. The faculty strength here is 48 with truly committed teachers that maintain a strong academic environment within the college.

The college has an array of impressive facilities all put in place to foster learning. Central to all of this is the college library, which has been expanded from a modest collection of 675 books in 1956 to an exhaustive repository of over 60,550 books, 2,500 bound periodicals, a collection of 70 journals on interdisciplinary subjects, and therefore provides abundant material to the students for research and academic exploration. The college also maintains well-equipped, department-based laboratories, making sure that the students of science subjects receive learning experience in hands. 

The college has to offer 15 full-time courses, including courses such as BA, B.Sc in various specialisations, like the Maths Group, Bio Group, Computer Science, and also courses in Agriculture Science, a number of Master's programmes, including those from subjects like physics and chemistry to Hindi and political science.
