Naraina College of Engineering and Technology, NCET, was established in the year 2007 as a private affiliated college in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Built over 138 acres with all modern infrastructures, it offers many different streams of engineering and management courses. The institute is affiliated by AICTE, New Delhi, and has a total enrolment capacity of 231 students within its various programmes. There are 80 faculty members in the NCET, and the student-to-faculty ratio ensures the giving of special attention to every student and is quality-imbued.

Naraina College of Engineering and Technology provides various courses such as undergraduate courses, postgraduate courses, and even courses for diplomas. Institute offers 7 B. Tech Programs, 4 M.Tech specialisations, MBA, MCA, and 2 Diploma courses with a total approved intake of 615 students. Some of the popular B. NCET follows merit-based admission processes that are similar to the ones presented by the state government and its affiliated university. For courses like B.Tech, the principles of admission are primarily based on UPCET scores, that is the Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test scores. For postgraduate admissions also, it accepts scores in GATE, Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.
