The National College of Education, Medak, came in to existence in 2002 and is an affiliated college, situated at Munidevunipally Village, Kondapur Mandal, Medak District, Telangana. This co-educational institution shall be found at a plot area of 5.24 acres and is an institution devoted to preparing students towards being educationists in the future. Aided by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the college is providing two specialised course in education hard coded with an intake capacity of 100 students. The institute has a strength of sixteen faculty members in which teachers are trained individually and with quality.

The National College of Education major thrust is to create an environment that supports learning for the students.. It provides number of amenities for academic and personal development of the students. It stands as the knowledge centre which provides all the necessary educational material. Accommodated facilities include modern equipped laboratories which afford practical touch in training a teacher. First aid facilities in a health centre provide care for students. It also provides for extra co-curricular activities to the college by providing a sports section for bod Zombie development. Up-to-date facilities upgraded classrooms and the IT support well equipped, there and then combined the conventional teaching and learning approaches with modern technological intervention.

National College of Education, Medak, focuses on two key educational programmes: Bachelors degree for one year B.ed & Bachelors degree for two years D.ed. Both are full times courses, though they both take two years each to complete. The programme that is at the core of the college has 100 approved seats to admission for the B.Ed. It’s specifically laid out for the students who want to pursue a teachers’ profession in secondary as well as higher secondary classes. The D.Ed programme which has a total intake capacity of 50, is for those who want to teach at the primary level. We currently have 150 seats for these two specialised courses and we play a great role in producing teachers to enhance education in the country each year.
