Course Overview

Blockchain Technology using Python programme aims to educate its candidates in the concepts useful for every sphere of ITES applications. These concepts include decentralisation, Provence and immutability to the transaction data. The focus of this course will be on how blockchain technology can be used to solve business problems. Candidates will also learn the methods of leveraging chain code to develop applications. 

The candidates who participate in the Blockchain Technology using Python course by NIELIT will learn about several topics related to blockchain technology like Cryptographic algorithms, digital signatures and certificates and public-private keys. They will also learn about python and how it is used to build a customised blockchain. 

The duration of Blockchain Technology using Python is six weeks, and candidates who are proficient in any programming language can participate. Eligibility Criteria

The prerequisites or eligibility criteria to qualify for participating in the Blockchain Technology using Python programme are that the candidate must have prior knowledge of Python. 

To be eligible for the course’s participation certificate, the candidates must have a minimum of 80% attendance. NIELIT will also dispatch a physical certificate other than the digitally signed e-certificate. The enrolled candidates will receive the certificate only after meeting the eligibility criteria and submitting the required documents.

Admission Details

Step I: To join the Blockchain Technology using Python online programme, visit the official page of NIELIT – http://student.nielit.gov.in

Step II: Select the certificate course you want to be a part of.

Step III: Fill out the registration form and provide with it your photograph, signature and thumb impression.

Step IV: Submit the application form and use the assigned application number to download and print your application form. 

Step V: Pay the one-time registration fee and course fee using your preferred mode of payment and proceed with the course. 

Application Details

The candidates have to fill out a registration application form while registering with NIELIT. The application form will include the candidate’s details, and they must also submit their signature, thumb impression and photograph while submitting the application form. After submission, the candidates will receive an application number, using which they will be able to print out the application form for further use.

1: Will I receive a certificate for participating in this course?

You will receive an e-certificate of participation when you complete the Blockchain Technology using Python course successfully and have at least 80% attendance. 

2: Do I have to pay a fee while registering with NIELIT?

You will have to pay a one-time fee while registering with NIELIT. The payment will be non-refundable. 

3: I do not have any background in programming languages. Will I be eligible for this course?

To be eligible for the Blockchain Development using Python programme, the candidate must have prior knowledge about any programming language. So, you will not qualify for the course. 

4: How many weeks will it take for me to complete this course?

It will take you around six weeks to complete the Blockchain Development using Python online course.

5: Will the course be available online?

Online mode of learning is available for this course. A free cloud-based programming platform is also available for collaborations and discussions.
