Course Overview

The Internet of things (IoT) programme available at the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) located at Gorakhpur-Extension Centre Lucknow is offered for candidates to utilise IoT in devices used for both daily life and innovations using embedded systems and sensors. The programme is a daily 3-hour online instruction course spanning over a duration of 6 weeks. Since it is an accessible online programme, it also covers a wide range of candidates by offering the course in two languages, namely English and Hindi.

The candidates will get exposed to topics such as IoT architecture and classifications, fundamentals of Microcontroller, programming using Arduino, demonstrations of sensors, working approaches to Ethernet shield, Android Studio, Cloud computing, Google Assistant etc. Also, there will be opportunities to make the first android, email implementation and IFTTT usage for Android implementation. A certificate of completion is conferred for candidates who pass the minimum requirements for the programme.

Certification qualifying details

These steps are to be followed by the candidate:

Step1: The candidate reads the course structure and requirements in the link provided: https://regn.nielitvte.edu.in/

Step2: The candidate visits the portal for Registration and follows the procedure starting with the “Apply Now” option.

Step3: The candidates have to click the “Register” option and create login credentials.

Step4: The application details need to be filled and submitted.

Step5: The candidates must upload supporting documents if needed can lock their profiles before paying the online fees.
