Course Overview

This Internship in the Design of DC Power Supply will familiarise the candidates with the way the jobs are carried out in the domain and what the different concepts of design are, which are the more popular and used ones among them and show them how the linear and switch supply modes function.

The 4-week long course covers every relevant topic in great detail so that the applicants are not left with any doubts about the industry. For this purpose, it also features a bilingual medium of instruction for the program in order to make comprehension of both the theoretical and practical aspects of the course easy and effective.

The candidates will be able to get some fantastic insights from the course that will make understanding complex and time taking topics easy to learn and carry out. The lab sessions will grant them the ability to solve twisted scenarios and the live classes will help them with the theoretical side of the program.

What you will learn

Knowledge of physics

Achieving the certificates will suggest that the participants have mastered the following techniques and concepts.

  • The participants will first of all be introduced to the DC power supply, their two types and their modes of distribution.
  • Candidates will also learn the three kinds of terminal regulators used for a linear mode of supply in both fixed and variable voltage.
  • Applicants will be able to strongly grasp how DC to DC converters function, what a Cuk converter is and how to use Buck-Boost converters.
  • The ability to quickly measure voltages in either AC or DC and using tools to test multimeters accurately will be one of their strongest skills.
  • Introduction to SMPS and the building blocks of SMPS will be some of the most significant contents in the participants’ lessons.
  • Candidates will be taught to regulate circuit designs to meet the desired rates by using tools such as ICs 723.
  • Lastly, the candidates will learn how to simulate regulator circuits or regulated power supplies so that they could deliver the demanded output.

Who it is for

Candidates who belong to one of these groups are perfectly suited for the program.

  • Freshers who have just qualified for their graduation exams and need to be in the driver’s seat of their careers can find out how to gain this advantage from this internship.
  • Participants already in the power supply sector wanting to gain the skill of designing for career progression can attain it through this certification internship.
