The National Institute of Fashion Technology, Daman was established in 1986. The institute is a pioneering thought leadership through a network of 18 professionally managed campuses. The National Institute of Fashion Technology provides a conducive environment for its students from different parts of the country to achieve their highest potential through the programmes offered. The branches in which the courses are offered are Fashion Design and Textile Design. 

National Institute of Fashion Technology, Daman also called NIFT Daman courses are BDes in textile design and MDes Fashion Management. Admission into these courses is given based on the NIFT Entrance Exam or GRE/GMAT/SAT scores. The National Institute of Fashion Technology also offers placement opportunities to its students through a campus recruitment drive. 

NIFT Daman also facilitates separate hostels for boys and girls, IT Infrastructure, wifi and many more which can be accessed by eligible students.
