Nehru Arts and Science College, Kanhangad was established in 1968. The college is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). NASC Kanhangad is affiliated with Kannur University, Kannur. Nehru Arts and Science College secured its position in the 151-200th rank band under the degree colleges category as per the NIRF 2023 ranking. NASC Kanhangad courses are offered at UG and PG level in full-time mode. Nehru Arts and Science College courses include BA, B.Sc, B.Com, MA, M.Sc and M.Com. in various branches like- Statistics, Commerce, History, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, English, Mathematics, Science and Zoology. NASC Kanhangad admissions are made based on the candidate's performance in the qualifying examination. Nehru Arts and Science College UG eligibility criteria is that the candidate must qualify for 10+2 and NASC Kanhangad PG eligibility criteria is that the candidate must qualify Bachelor's degree in 10+2+3 pattern.
