New Horizon College of Education, Bhagalpur was established in the year of 2014. Situated at Shahpur Tamauni, Bhagalpur district, this affiliated college comes under the recognition of NCTE. The campus is spread over a compact area of 1 acre, which provides an atmosphere for focused learning. The institution maintains a good student-teacher ratio of 177 enrolled students and faculty strength of 24. New Horizon College of Education is running two full-time courses: B.Ed and D.El.Ed.

The admission procedure in New Horizon College of Education will be based on merits, that is, on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The institution adheres to the admission policies prescribed by the State Government of Bihar and the affiliated university. Candidates are admitted to the B.Ed. program based on performance in the qualifying examination or a suitably designed entrance test, as per state government/ university policies. Admissions into the D.El.Ed program are based on merit in the qualifying examination or by entrance examination, whichever be decided by the state government/UT administration.
