New Science Degree and PG College for men, Hanamkonda was started in the year 1994, is one of the leading colleges in the Warangal district of the newly formed Telangana State. Affiliated to this university the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has approved this college in all it programmes and disciplines. Housed in a 2 acre lush green campus, this college takes an annual aggregate student enrolment of 748 and a teaching and non teaching staff strength of 57. New Science College, offers over thirty two courses across seven degree programmes including Science, Commerce, Management, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels.

Admissions generally for Undergraduate Programmes are done based on the student performance in their 10+2 exams.
