Nightingale College for Girls, Alwar started its journey in 2003, is one of the premier educational institution of the country where young and beautiful women are given proper education to be successful in their life. This college is affiliated and situated at Vijay Nagar, Alwar, Rajasthan where the college offers an acclaimed course combination of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in many fields. The college is located in a 1.39 acre land making it have adequate space to facilitate the needs of its students and environment for the learners to grow. Nightingale College for Girls today holds approximately 752 student enrolments; all them being females constitute the school’s focus in championing education for women. The institution currently teaches 800 students across 12 courses in seven degree programmes from Arts, Commerce, and Sciences.

Nightingale College for Girls has several functional facilities which are able to supplement the student learning atmosphere in the college. In addition to libraries, a well equipped standard computerised library provides multi-fold facility with stocks of books, periodicals and different e-journals and linkages to necessary internet bases. The college encompasses well equipped laboratories for different subjects like Chemistry, Physics, Botany, Zoology, Computer Science, Psychology, Geography etc. Most of these labs are for both undergraduate and postgraduate students with the aim of exposed them to practical sessions. For extra-curricular activities and common annual functions the college has an auditorium and outdoor sports facilities for Games and sports – volleyball, badminton, kho-kho, kabaddi, cricket etc. Usually a cafeteria helps students to have a free time between classes to spend it in society with their friends. It also provides transport services to make travel of students easier, as it is also a part of Gow/en college.

This school has arms that deal with all round academic programmes that students would want to pursue as they advance in their education. The institution offers ten programmes of study, both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Undergraduate level education at the university level involves acquiring of the following degrees and courses; Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), a variety of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) courses such as B.Sc Honours, B.Sc Mathematics Honours, B.Sc Maths Group, and B.Sc Bio Group. For post graduate education the college provides Master of Arts in English and master of Arts in Geography, Master of Science in Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics and Master of Commerce. The college has a total intake capacity of 752 students in its various courses, which means they get the right student faculty ratio for one on one teaching and effective learning.
