Nikhil Banga Sikshan Mahavidyalaya, Bankura: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Nikhil Banga Sikshan Mahavidyalaya, Bankura, was founded in 1969. It is a college affiliated to Bishnupur House, West Bengal. The co-educational institution stretches over a campus of 10.215 acres and imparts only teacher education. The institution has accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council and approval from the National Council for Teacher Education, and it has two specialized courses in education. This co-ed institute, having a student enrolment of 157 and a faculty strength of 12, provides a close learning environment for the aspiring educators.

The facilities in the college are well diversified to help students at large for enhancing the experience and supporting an academic journey. A well-furnished, adequately equipped modern library provides a collection of diversified books and journals for all-round development and excellence in academics. The institution is fully equipped with physical science, life science, and psychology laboratories to conduct practical training under expert guidance. Apart from the academics, the college campus is also provided with facilities for sports, a gymnasium, a separate boy's hostel, and a girl's hostel so that a proper balance is maintained in the routine of the students. An auditorium is provided for events and seminars.

Nikhil Banga Sikshan Mahavidyalaya offers two regular courses at the undergraduate degree level with a specialization in education.  Both of these courses make the students empowered in the profession of teaching and physical education, for which the institution is aimed.

The admission process to Nikhil Banga Sikshan Mahavidyalaya is based on merit, considering marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. In respect of B.Ed., admissions are made as per the policy of the State Government/UT Administration and University. In respect of B.P.Ed., the admissions are made after undergoing a written test, fitness test, interview, and percentage in the qualifying examination.
