Nilaai Educational Trust’s Group of Institutions: The college was set up in 2009 at Thakurgaon, Ranchi, Jharkhand, and it is an affiliated college. The institute is located over a 25-acre campus and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Currently, the institute has total intake capacity of 249 students and total faculty strength of 53, with offer 13 courses in 4 programmes of degree. Nilaai Educational Trust’s Group of Institutions offers engineering, management, and vocational standards in education to any aspiring learners.

Nilaai Educational Trust’s Group of Institutions has a very good provision of different physical infrastructure with the aim of improving learning and general student development. Another facility available within the campus is;The development of laboratories for students enrolled in science based courses so that they can apply the knowledge that they get from books. The basic facilities include three computer laboratories that contain sixty computers specifically with Internet connectivity to enable the students practice modern advanced technology. In academic areas, the institute has a well stocked library with over 40,000 books, journals and e-resources. The campus also provides a student friendly air cooled hostels separately for boys and girls are available with all facilities and Wi-Fi connectivity. Players in the field of sports can enjoy good quality of play fields for outdoor games like cricket ground, football ground and an indoor games like badminton facilities etc,. The courses offered at Nilai Educational Trust’s Group of Institutions cover a wide field of studies to ensure students pursuit their preferred field of study. The institute offers 13 courses of which 4 are in full time B.Tech specialisation in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Civil Engineering. Also, there are diploma programmes in Civil, Electrical and Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering. If one is interested in management studies, he/she is offered the MBA programme by the institute. The institute has also formulate B.Voc programmes in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Automobile Servicing, Refrigeration & Air conditioning, Mobile Communications to meet up the demand of vocational education. The total approved intake concerning the B.Tech programmes presented is of 288 seats; Mechanical Engineering has maximum capability of 96 seats.

Admission procedure in Nilaai Educational Trusts Group of Institution is different for each course and are based on domicile of the candidate. To apply for B.Tech, candidates of the Jharkhand state must appear for the JCECE- the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination and should have obtained a non zero rank for taking admission under state quota. The candidates other than the residents of Jharkhand have to appeared and qualify in the JEE Main conducted by CBSE. While applying for MBA, the candidate should have appeared in CMAT, CAT, JMATE or XAT. It also has management quota seats available, you have to apply to get these seats separately from the institute management. Some of the well known entrance tests accepted at the institute are JEE Main for engineering stream and CAT, XAT, CMAT for management stream.
