NIMS College of Nursing Neyyattinkara: This college is situated Trivandrum, Kerala and follows the affiliation system established in the year 2009. This is a prestigious College on Indian Nursing Council (INC) that was established in multi acre of land to offer different nursing courses. NIMS College of Nursing is a small institution with a total student enrolment of 235 and 18 faculty members which make the college more capable to provide personal attention to the students. The college has four full-time courses I undergraduate as well as postgraduate where the college provides various specialisation in the nursing filed.

The college has set up a number of facilities with an intention of improving academic and personal achievements of its students. A central library is well endowed which has more than 2500 books and 15 journals available to enrich the students and their curricular needs. The institution is equipped with a modern computer laboratory connected to the internet and has SPSS software, training students in the update technology in the health sector. Besides the curriculum, the college provides for students’ health and talent through available sports and health facilities and first aid services. Amongst these, one of the most appreciated facilities of this institute is that this NIMS College of Nursing has separate hostels for the boys and girls but have round the clock security system provided by efficient wardens and supervisors.

Currently, NIMS College of Nursing provides a total of four programmes: however all of these programmes are on a full time basis. These include one undergraduate course, the B.Sc Nursing programme, and three postgraduate courses: M.Sc Medical Surgical Nursing, M.Sc Paediatric Nursing, M.Sc Obstetrics and-Gynaecology Nursing. The total intake as approved in all the courses is 70 and for the B.Sc Nursing is 60. These diverse coursework help students to develop specialised focus areas in the nursing disciplines in order to achieve excellent career opportunities the health sector.
