About Nirmala College, Ranchi
Nirmala College is an affiliated college situated in Doranda, Ranchi Jharkhand which was stablished in 1969. The institution is located in a 6.1-acres campus and provides a wide area of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Recognised by the NAAC, Nirmala college has a total intake of 3,516 size of staff catalogues at 53. The college offers 24 programs comprehensively spread across eight degree branches with an emphasis on arts, science, commerce, and vocational studies. The college has a ration of 54% female to 46% male students at the undergraduate level and thus has a sound gender policy.
This facility of the Nirmala College provides many services to the students so as to have an effective educational experience. The main facility includes a comprehensive library where one can find books on subjects taught, magazines as well as Hindi and English newspa- pers. Female students can find a limited accommodation in the girls’ hostel of the institution run by the Society of Sisters of Charity of Jesus and Mary. There are opportunities for both indoor and outdoor game lovers which may be provided in the campus.
The college facilities include; internet connection, college cafeteria, an events and seminar hall, college laboratory for various subjects. There is emergency first aid health center available for medical facilities. There also exists an IT capacity to support technological features in learning among the institution. For visitors there is a guest house and waiting room facility and for patients there is an OP receiving/diagnostic department. Alumni relations is highly developed in the college; therefore the students can easily learn from the experiences of their seniors.
The college has an impressive academic catalogue spread across 24 courses, of which three are full time – two undergraduate and one post graduate. Undergraduate courses are offered in arts, science, commerce, and vocational faculties, and post graduate courses are offered only in Economics, Geography, Hindi, History, Political Science and Commerce. This college has an overall student admission capacity of 3,516 of which 2,445 are undergraduate and 721 postgraduate students. In the most recent academic year, the college recorded high number of graduations which is due to the Colleges commitment to both quality academic programs and students achievement.
In terms of admission, Nirmala College relies mostly on merit in all its courses offered to students. Student’s performance during the qualifying examinations is considered for admission of prospective students. This college offers admission to a number of Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses; Its admission processes are generally based on Ranchi University calendar most of the times.

College Infrastructure
The infrastructure of this college is quite good. There are canteens inside the college campus. Hostel facilities are very good. Well equipped labs are there inside the campus. Also a very good library is inside the college.

The infrastructure of the college is very good in terms of accomodation of students as the faculty needs to accomodate a large number of students into the classes and the structure and space area was quite good too.The college also had laboratories and library and working space for studying,also it provides facility for computer cell.The campus not only had cemented buildings and classrooms but also had greenery covering the campus area.The planted trees and gardening are well maintained.

Yes my college has all the necessary facilities. And since it is a Christian minority college, we have churches inside the campus, so cleanliness is not an issue here. The campus is WiFi enabled and student friendly of course.

Candidates for admission to the Honours Course must have obtained at least 45 percent marks in the subject concerned in Intermediate/equivalent examinations, as well as 45 percent aggregate in Intermediate and equivalent examinations.
Candidates seeking admission to Accounts Honours have at least 45 percent in Accounts as well as 45 percent aggregate in Intermediate and equivalent examinations. Only students majoring in business or science are eligible to apply.
Candidates seeking admission to a P.G. Course in any subject must have obtained at least 45 percent in the subject in the graduate examinations.

Nope! NIRMALA COLLEGE RANCHI don't offer BCOM Economics course but it offers the BA ECONOMICS (Hons.) course. In Ranchi there are no colleges which offers this course of BCOM ECONOMICS.
