Kanteshwar College is located at 11-1-255/1A, Kanteshwar and this college is well developed in a small piece of land of 2.21 Acre providing an exclusive academic ambiance. The institution has 174 students enrolments and has authorized members or teachers of 13 in number only. It has 3 types of Undergraduate Degrees spanning 4 disciplines of commerce, science and management fields at Nishitha Commerce and Science College.

The college has long-term goal of ensuring it provides a friendly learning environment with adequate and up to date facilities. It occupies a special place in the academic community, as it holds more than 2,126 literature dealing with different aspects of science, commerce and management. It also takes 3 periodicals and 4 daily newspapers with a comfortable reading hall facility having a seating capacity of one hundred. The other resources are also remarkable; there is a computer laboratory with up-to-date technological features including forty terminals, and wireless internet across the campus. In areas of specialty, the college boasts of Correlate equipped laboratories for science students especially a large well equipped Physics laboratory. The space has been so arranged as to ensure maximum learning with every classroom being equipped with smart boards, LCDs, and projectors in order to help the tutors with teaching aids.

Presently, at Nishitha Commerce and Science College, there are 4 full time undergraduate courses which are all of 3 year in duration. The college has an aggregate approved enrolment of 330 across all its courses. These are B.Com Computer Application, B.Sc Mathematics Statistics and Data Science, B.Sc Mathematics Physics and Comp Science and B.B.A Bachelor of Business Administration. All these programmes are meant to produce students who are knowledgeable in theories and practical aspects in their areas of specialization.
