Noorul Islam College of Arts and Science, Kanyakumari, established in 2001, is an affiliated college positioned in Thuckalay, Tamil Nadu. Established more than 20 years ago, this learning centre is located on a huge plot of land of 15 acres. The college has a total student enrolment of 1580 and faculty strength of 15 with 16 courses offered under 8 degree programmes in Arts and Sciences stream.

Noorul Islam College of Arts and Science has all round facilities that play a key role in improving learning environment for students in the college. The library has more than 7000 books and 600 international level reference books in various disciplines available in its library. The number of computer systems are adequate and it can be used to update students with the modern technology systems. Regarding games and athletic activities, the college is fully equipped and organises students towards participation in various games. Physical facility of the campus also includes a boys hostels as well as girls hostels which provide accommodation for out station students.

Noorul Islam College of Arts and Science extends its services of providing 16 courses both in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The institution offers 11 undergraduate programmes for example B.Sc in Computer Science, Biotechnology and Visual Communication, B Com, BBA among other. At the postgraduate level, five programmes are available for students such as M.Sc in Biotechnology, Computer science and Mathematics, MA in English, M.Com. All courses are full-time since the college offers intense, concentrate education. 

This college has also aimed on the policy of equal admission and merit basis in Noorul Islam College of Arts and Science. The college looks at performance in the qualifying exams when admitting students to different programmes. It has a true multicultural student population and currently 98% of the students are from within the state while 2% are from other parts of India.
