Nova College of Education, Vegavaram: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Located in Jangareddigudem, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh, and established in the year 2002, Nova College of Education, Vegavaram, is an affiliated college. This institute is approved by NCTE and runs its specialised courses in education. It offers full-time courses in B.Ed., M.Ed., and D.Ed. with a total enrolment capacity of 200 students in all three courses combined. This is a co-educational college, thus it admits both boys and girls within its premises.

The college has various facilities that help in enhancing the learning experience of students here. There are separate hostels for boys and girls, which can accommodate 450 and 250 students, respectively. Attractive features of these hostels include purified mineral water and a well-trained security system. A gymnasium for the physical fitness of students, which adds to the holistic development the college has been aiming at in its students, is available. The library happens to be among the prime centres that provide academic resources and sustains a computerised system with a huge collection of textbooks, reference materials, and digital resources, including an e-library.

It has both outdoor and indoor game facilities, ranging from chess and carrom to volleyball and football. Other facilities offered by the college include well-maintained modern IT infrastructure, a subsidised canteen with nutritious food, and transport facilities for students commuting from different parts of the city. Some other amenities include a guest room, an auditorium for events, seminars, and symposia, first-aid facilities at a health centre, and well-equipped laboratories supporting practical learning. 

Nova College of Education runs a total of three full-time courses in the area of education. All these programmes cater to different levels of teacher training. Thus, the institution offers a wide range of options for aspiring educators.
