NPR Polytechnic College, Dindigul was started in 2007 and is affiliated to the Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai NPR Nagar, Natham, Dindigul District – 624 019, Tamilnadu, India. Spread in a campus of 10.55 acres the institute is recognised from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). NPR Polytechnic College grants three diploma course in engineering fields and the total student enrolment is 582. The college has a strong faculty of 45 members to teach healthy student and teacher ratio in the classroom. As a technical institute our main goal is to achieve high standards of technical education for students to be able to achieve the best results in the faculties of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

NPR Polytechnic College bears the responsibility of delivering a variety of services that would complement learning. The campus has the accommodation facilities for male and female students and some of the amenities they have include; Drinking water through reverse osmosis technology, washing machines, and hostels with power supply throughout the night. On site, there is an ambulance with stretcher,‘ and an oxygen cylinder for emergencies in case they arise. The library is well equipped with adequate number of books, journals and e-learning material in-side and outside of various discipline improved more than 25% than the AICTE norms. Players and lovers of sports can access the international turf cricket ground with flood light, having a seating capacity 10000 which has been home to Ranji, Under 19 and TNPL matches. The college also has an air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of three hundred, fully furnished with latest in audio visual equipment.

NPR Polytechnic College in its total curriculum provides three full time diploma course in engineering only. These programmes are meant to equip the students with skills and knowledge in skills and theoretical concepts that relate to their disciplines. The Approved register admission capacity of the institute is 360 for all courses of study. The diploma programmes that are presented are in Civil engineering, Mechanical engineering, and Electrical and Electronics engineering all taking a duration of three years.
