NSS College, Manjeri, was set up in 1965 at Malappuram in Kerala and is one of the reckoned colleges. A NAAC affirmed affiliated college of this university, offering the undergraduate and post graduate programmes in a number of streams. Located on a 48.36 acre of land, the college has 1,075 students in its enrolment and has 33 teachers in its faculty. NSS College, Manjeri has opted for 12 courses spread across 6 degrees, in arts, commerce, and science streams. There is also equal gender composition within the institute with 66% of the students being female while 34% are male this gives a good gender percentage.

NSS College is well endowed with infrastructures in order to facilitate the improvement of the quality of education being imparted. Located in the library there are more than 35000 book and the library also provides access to more than 40 periodicals focusing on journals, magazines and newspapers. Students also get access to the N-LIST library consortium which contains a large number of both e-books and e-journals. Technological advancement is evident in the institution through a computer laboratory with broadband internet and DTP services at concessional prices. To enable the students grow fully there is a sports complex a gym hall an auditorium for various functions and seminars.

NSS College, Manjeri has course offerings for all levels of education: 8 Undergraduate, 4 Postgraduate courses. Our undergraduate programmes offered include History, Functional English, Commerce, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Mathematics, Plant Science. The college at post-graduate level has Masters of Arts in History and English, Masters of Commerce in Financial Management, Master of Philosophy and Doctor of Philosophy in History. All programmes offered are daytime only, so students are offered very effective training in their chosen fields.
