NSSR's Vasantdada Patil Arts, Commerce and Science College, Patoda is one lone star in the galaxy of higher learning in Beed district, Maharashtra. This affiliated college, established in 1989, is accredited by NAAC and covers an area of 5 acres of land. The college offers 19 courses at the degree level for its 1,251 students with a faculty strength of 71. Both undergraduate and postgraduate levels have a well-balanced sex ratio. Undergraduate course comprises 65% males and 35% females, whereas the postgraduate courses consist of 69% males and 31% females. 

It is one of those colleges which provides comprehensive facilities for all-round development of students. The central library set up in October 1989 has over 14,000 printed books and subscribes to e-resources accessible through NLIST. The full 87x89 meter playground accommodates all the kinds of outdoor games; while indoor facilities for table tennis, carom, and chess are provided to accommodate indoor games for the sporty type. A full-fledged gym for the students further takes ahead the commitment of the institution towards physical fitness. At the level of academic infrastructure, it is its five well-equipped science laboratories and four recognized research centres in Political Science, Marathi, Hindi, and Microbiology that have put the college on a very strong footing. The College is Wi-Fi enabled, having Wi-Fi facilities for Students and Staff. A visiting Doctor with first-aid facilities is arranged in the Health center. He is always available on call in times of need. Late Sau. Kesharbai Kshirsagar Auditorium of area 2,800 sq. ft. serves as the venue of Annual Gatherings and other major programs. 

NSSR's Vasantdada Patil Arts, Commerce and Science College conducts 4 undergraduate courses and 15 postgraduate courses, namely BA with 960 seats, B.Sc and B.Com with 360 seats each, and BCS Self Finance with 60 seats. At the postgraduate level, it offers MA with an intake capacity of 120 in each , M.Sc. in Chemistry, and M.Sc. in Microbiology. It has also launched certain innovative programmes in B.Voc. There is an intake of 50 in Rural Health Care and Sanitation, Soil and Water Conservation and Management, and Banking and Financial Services.
