Ochhelal Suryaprasad Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Akbarpur, Kanpur Dehat Uttar Pradesh, was established in the year 2014. This women's institute is spread over a compact 0.82-acre campus with a concentrated educational experience in two degree programmes. This co-educational institution is NCTE-approved and presently has an enrolment of 441, with faculty strength standing at 12. 

Simultaneously, it has a vast host of amenities to provide the student with an all-around exposure. A fully resourced library serves as an academic resource centre and sports facility promote the health of body and mind besides inculcating teamwork spirit. The admission process at Ochhelal Suryaprasad Mahila Mahavidyalaya varies by programme. Admission to the B.Ed. course will be made purely on a merit basis with regard to marks obtained in the Qualifying Examination/Entrance Examination, if any. The college abides by the policies decided by the state government, UT administration, and the affiliated university.
